About This Event

Just days before Christmas 1991, the Canadian Women of Croatian Origin hosted a charity Arts, Crafts, and Bake Sale at Toronto’s historic St. Lawrence Hall Ballroom. The elegant venue was filled with handmade crafts, traditional baked goods, and the warm generosity of the Croatian-Canadian community.

All proceeds from the event went directly to assist families and children left homeless by the war in Croatia, symbolizing how compassion and artistry could come together in service of hope.
